DIY Magnetic Insect Screen Singapore: INSECT SCREEN

Magnetic Insect Screen provides a solution to your mosquitoes & insects problem at home or at work. Its suitable to be installed on your existing aluminum sliding window, push-out (casement), aluminum grilles or any 4 sided frame. Our screen keeps out mosquitoes, cockroaches, lizards and other insects but allow air to flow through thus improve ventilation. It is an excellent Dengue & Zika prevention.


Lift screen from bottom to open / close window

Insect screens are held to the window frame using magnets, 1 magnetic strip on insect screen & another pasted on window frame with adhesive tape . The attracting magnets forms a seal around the window frame and also allows you to easily open / close your windows or remove the whole insect screen to wash.

Lift the screens from the bottom which will give sufficient space to open/close window. The screen will stick back onto the frame when released.

EASY TO INSTALL

Easy to install on your own and it does not damage existing window / grille's frame. No screws, nailing or drilling required. Each individual component / part of insect screen is replaceable in the event of damage.

White mesh is NOT RECOMMENDED as it reflect light thus will be very obvious

Insect screens with grey or black mesh are hardly visible. It's also referred to as 'Invisible screen'

REMOVABLE & WASHABLE

Besides keeping insects out, insect screen also trap dust which will require cleaning. Spray with water to remove dust trapped on the mesh & dry it (like air-con filter) before putting it back on your window.

As follow up, I installed the magnetic fly screens as per instructions. The results are more than satisfactory. Challenges included tensioning the flyscreen, and securing the magnetic strip to frame with the fly screen in the channel. eventually completed. results are good. it works. Next time I wouldn't choose white magnetic frame for the coffee brown aluminium frame. otherwise, all is good. Thank you......David W

Received the item within two days from order. It was challenging to install the item but not hard. Just need to measure the windows correctly and cut accordingly. Great product!..... jul***

Have fixed the screen, small window easier to fix as screen is more sturd. Bigger one easy too but abit filmsy so need 2 person to fix. Overall great products n thks for it.....Cherie

Just to share with you, I have good success with the kitchen gate which pasted onto wrought iron. It works & looks good. The black mesh looks invisible.....Jason

Thank you very much for demonstrating patiently how to fix the insect screen.
We managed to fix it properly without any issue.
Really like the product very much except i find that the plastic smell was a bit strong ... think it is going off slowly..... Hai San
