DIY Magnetic Insect Screen Singapore: Install PVC Tube for Casement Window with Protruding Handle

For single panel casement windows where the locking handle is at the side.

Cut PVC tube to size with mini hacksaw

Cut & assemble PVC tube according to window size

3M double-sided adhesive tape on one side of PVC tube.

Install Magnetic Insect Screen on the other side of PVC tube

Remove adhesive tape cover & paste PVC tube to window frame.

Attach pre-assembled insect screen on the PVC tube.

PVC tube keeps insect screen away from locking handle.

As follow up, I installed the magnetic fly screens as per instructions. The results are more than satisfactory. Challenges included tensioning the flyscreen, and securing the magnetic strip to frame with the fly screen in the channel. eventually completed. results are good. it works. Next time I wouldn't choose white magnetic frame for the coffee brown aluminium frame. otherwise, all is good. Thank you......David W

Received the item within two days from order. It was challenging to install the item but not hard. Just need to measure the windows correctly and cut accordingly. Great product!..... jul***

Have fixed the screen, small window easier to fix as screen is more sturd. Bigger one easy too but abit filmsy so need 2 person to fix. Overall great products n thks for it.....Cherie

Just to share with you, I have good success with the kitchen gate which pasted onto wrought iron. It works & looks good. The black mesh looks invisible.....Jason

The mosquito screen works great. I installed it on my balcony sliding door (one side) so I can still open at least one panel.....Stanry

We managed to fix it properly without any issue.
Really like the product very much except i find that the plastic smell was a bit strong ... think it is going off slowly..... Hai San
